Our Review: We have received numerous calls and complaints regarding this seller. Instead of bona fide ear training, you'll get a concoction of self-hypnosis, motivation tactics, positive thinking, and sleep learning from a hypnotherapist.

Perfect Pitch is a serious set of virtuoso hearing skills that simply cannot be gained by hypnotherapy or sleep learning. And while positive thinking is great, no amount of good intentions will improve your ear without proper Perfect Pitch drills.

"Absolute Pitch Power" is a prime example of someone who is trying to capitalize on the success of Burge's best-selling Perfect Pitch® Ear Training SuperCourse.

To promote his product, this seller often copies Burge's famous statements, such as: "Shouldn't a musician know C from G like a painter knows blue from red?" This is a line from Burge's classic story published in music magazines for two decades -- which you can read in its entirety on our web site -- entitled, "How I Discovered the Secret to Perfect Pitch. This seller copies many other ideas from Burge's course and from our web site, as you will be able to see for yourself if you compare them. His course, however, does not contain Burge's proven drills for developing Perfect Pitch.

With several outlandish sounding "Guarantees," this seller hopes to "hypnotize" you into spending a mere $37.75 for his "relaxing" approach rather than spend more for Burge's authentic and independently proven Perfect Pitch methods. At that low price you are statistically far more unlikely to take all the time and energy to repackage and reship these CDs back to him, especially when you have to pay several dollars in shipping and packaging costs. And if you don't bother to return the product to claim your $37.75 refund, he gets to keep your money -- which is what he's hoping.

Beware: seller says at end of his product description:

And Absolute Pitch Power is guaranteed for life! If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, simply return it for a full prompt refund -- no questions asked.

But this is not true and is deceptive. His "Lifetime Guarantee" is actually conditional, and there is fine print elsewhere you have to read closely. We just had a call the other day from one of this seller's customers who complained he cannot reach the seller to get his refund. (By the way, this seller's wording "simply return it for a full prompt refund -- no questions asked" is copied exactly from our own magazine ads and web site.)

Beware: There is no true ear training method here, just sensational claims masterfully crafted to lure you into spending your money. This seller has no research to show that his method works at all. Our company will absolutely guarantee that this mock approach will not work for you, and that this seller will never be able to produce research that shows otherwise.
